Description
Toffee Pretzels are a fantastic sweet and salty snack! Toffee Pretzels are made of pretzels coated in a tasty toffee and slow-roasted in the oven.
Ingredients:
- 12 cups mini pretzels
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegan buttery spread
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
2. Place the pretzels in a greased roasting pan.
3. In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, vegan buttery spread, and corn syrup. Bring to boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla and baking soda (mixture will foam).
5. Pour over pretzels and mix well.
6. Bake, uncovered, at 200 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
7. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
8. Store in an airtight container.
