Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, Nut-Free, Peanut-Free, Soy-Free, Fish-Free, Shellfish-Free
A delicious and easy to assemble sandwich loaded with onions, peppers, and mushrooms on top of a grilled-to-perfection ribeye.
- 4 ribeye steaks
1 sweet onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 yellow pepper, sliced
4 oz. mushrooms, sliced
Vegan buttery spread
1. Fire up the grill.
2. Heat skillet with 1 tbsp. of vegan buttery spread. Add sliced peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Sauté for 10 minutes or until onion is translucent and peppers/mushrooms start to brown.
3. Meanwhile, cook the ribeye sandwich meat over direct heat for about 2 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.
4. If you'd like to grill the bun, spread vegan buttery spread on the inside of the bun. Place bun close to the coals, but not over direct heat, for 2 minutes or until edges start to brown.
5. Build your sandwich - layer the steak and pepper mixture on bun. Top with steak sauce if desired.
