Honey Glazed Carrots

Honey Glazed Carrots are carrots covered with a sweet honey butter glaze and seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic. Don't confuse this one as a dessert, this is still your side vegetable!
- 1/4 cup vegan buttery spread
2 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Salt & pepper
2 lb. carrots, peeled and quartered
1. Peel and cut the carrots. Cut the carrots in half lengthwise and then cut each half into a quarter.
2. Heat the vegan buttery spread in a skillet over medium heat. Add about 1/4 cup water and the carrots. Cook for 10 minutes covered.
3. Remove the cover. Add the honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Increase the temperature to medium high heat and cook for another 5-10 minutes, flipping the carrots occasionally.
