Description

Garlic Honey Shrimp has become a classic go-to for many households due to its undeniably good flavor. Marinating the shrimp in garlic honey sauce guarantees flavor through and through. Sautéing it locks the flavor in with a glaze that will have you craving more!

Ingredients:

    1 lb. shrimp
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 cup honey
    3 tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cayenne
    1 lime, zested
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tbsp. canola/vegetable oil

Directions

1. For the garlic honey sauce, whisk minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, ginger, cayenne, lime zest, salt and pepper. Divide the sauce in half.
2. Pour half of the sauce over the shrimp. Toss to coat shrimp. Marinate in the refrigerate for 30 minutes or more.
3. Heat skillet over medium heat with 1 tbsp. oil. Cook the shrimp for 1 minute, flip, and cook for another minute. If you need to work in batches, that is okay!
4. Return all the shrimp to the pan and add some of the marinade. Cook for another 2 minutes until shrimp is cooked through and starts to caramelize. Remove shrimp from pan.
