Description

The Good Ole Days. Farmhouse Hash is a classic hash made of potatoes, carrots, celery, Italian sausage, and seasonings. The aroma brings back all the memories of Grandma's cooking. Easy recipe to prepare, so go ahead and double the recipe. The leftovers are just as tasty.

Ingredients:

    1 lb. baby red potatoes
    1 tbsp. olive oil
    1 white onion, diced
    2-3 carrots, sliced
    2 celery stalks, diced
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    2-3 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
    Salt & pepper

Directions

1. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add red potatoes and boil for 8 minutes until fork tender. Drain, let cool, and slice into quarters.
2. Heat a large cast iron pan over medium heat. Add Italian sausage, carrots, onion, celery, and red potatoes. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping occasionally (about 5 minutes) to allow the potatoes to crisp.
3. Add minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes until desired doneness.
