Description

Inspired by Culvers, our Pot Roast Sandwich is made of shredded beef, onions, pickles, and a sesame bun.

Ingredients:

    1-2 tbsp. olive oil
    Freshly ground salt & pepper
    3 lb. sirloin roast or top-round steak
    1 white onion, diced
    1 packet onion soup mix
    4 cups beef broth
    Sesame sandwich buns
    Dill pickles

Directions

1. Season roast with freshly ground pepper and salt.
2. Add 1 tbsp. olive oil to pan. Sear roast until browned on all sides.
3. Transfer roast to slow cooker. Add onions, onion soup mix, and beef broth.
4. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours. Remove meat, let cool slightly, and shred the meat.
5. Return shredded beef to slow cooker until heated through.
6. Build your sandwiches and enjoy!
