A tasty blend of chicken, carrots, onion, water chestnuts, and spices make these crispy wontons irresistible.

1 lb. ground chicken, cooked and crumbled
    3/4 bunch green onions, diced
    1 1/2 cups matchstix carrots
    1 can water chestnuts, diced
    5 garlic cloves
    1 tsp. ginger, grated
    3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. corn starch + 1 tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 package wonton wrappers
    Olive oil

1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, green onions, carrots, chestnuts, garlic, and ginger.
2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, corn starch, and water until smooth. Add to chicken mixture and toss to coat.
3. Place a spoonful of filling in each wrapper. For a square shape, place filling in center of wrapper and fold edges inward. Moisten the edges with water and press to seal. Repeat until all filling has been used.
4. Heat olive oil in skillet. Place wontons in skillet, cook for 3 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3 minutes until golden and crispy.
