Description

Cranberry sauce is a delightful addition to your Thanksgiving dinner. As a basic traditional recipe, our cranberry sauce simply includes sugar, water, fresh cranberries, and a pinch of salt.

Ingredients:

    1 cup. sugar
    1 cup. water
    12 oz. package fresh cranberries
    Pinch of salt

Directions

1. Rinse cranberries in colander.
2. Combine sugar and water in saucepan over low heat, until sugar dissolves. Add a pinch of salt.
3. Add cranberries and cook until they burst, about 10 minutes.
4. Remove saucepan from heat and let cool completely, then transfer to resealable container and refrigerate.
    • Wish we could make this healthier, but sometimes you just cannot help it!
    • Substitute low-calorie sugar for regular sugar.
