Description

As a versatile side dish that is easy to make, brown sugar carrots are tender carrots glazed with a mixture of brown sugar and butter.

Ingredients:

    4-5 carrots, sliced
    2 tbsp. buttery spread
    2 tbsp. brown sugar
    Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

1. Heat a large sauce pan with 1/2 cup water. Add carrots. bring to simmer and cook for 5-8 minutes until tender and water has dissolved.
2. Add buttery spread and brown sugar. Toss to coat the carrots. Cook for 5-8 minutes.
3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • The perfect Thanksgiving side dish.
