Description

This Broccoli Slaw Salad recipe is made with a package of broccoli slaw, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, scallions, and oriental fried noodles (beef flavored). The perfect easy, fresh side dish for a summer cookout or picnic.

Ingredients:

    1 package broccoli slaw
    1 cup sunflower seeds
    1 cup sliced almonds
    1 bunch scallions, diced
    2 packages oriental fried noodles (beef flavored)

    Dressing Ingredients
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1/3 cup vinegar
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 packages seasoning mix

Directions

1. In a large bowl, combine broccoli slaw, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, and diced scallions. Toss to mix.
2. To make the dressing, combine vegetable oil, vinegar, and sugar. Add seasoning from noodle packages. Mix until blended.
3. Prior to serving, coat broccoli slaw in dressing. Personally, I like to store the salad separate from the dressing to avoid sogginess.
*** Look for Indomie Fried Noodles or other imported authentic noodles instead of the traditional brands.
