Description

BBQ hot dogs are slowly cooked in a crockpot in a tangy tasty sauce. The easiest appetizer you could ever make. Everyone will love these tasty little hot dog bites including the kids.

Ingredients:

    4 lbs. hot dogs or cocktail wieners
    1 tbs. melted vegan buttery spread
    1/2 cup onion, diced
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    2 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tbs. brown sugar
    2 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 cup ketchup

Directions

Cut hot dogs into bite sized pieces. If using cocktail wieners just leave them whole.
Combine all ingredients in crock pot and mix well.
Cook on low heat for 3-4 hours or 1-2 hours on high.
Serve with toothpicks.
    • This is a great Appetizer for the holidays! You can pair it with other appetizers.
    • Wish we could make this healthier, but sometimes you just cannot help it!
    • Substitute low-calorie brown sugar for regular brown sugar
    • Substitute turkey hot dogs for beef hot dogs
